The Applied Physics Institute at Western Kentucky University invites
applications for postdoctoral positions in the utilization of pulsed
fast/thermal neutrons for elemental characterization.  The successful
applicants will join active groups that are currently constructing a
prototype on-line coal analyzer and also are developing a toxic waste
characterization method.  Preference will be given to candidates with
a PhD in nuclear physics and a strong background in neutron physics,
nuclear electronics, data acquisition systems, and Monte Carlo
methods.  The positions are federally funded and immediately
