On 17-18 October, the first of eight workshops to define the neutron-beam instrumentation for
Australia's Replacement Research Reactor will take place at Lucas Heights, near Sydney, Australia.
The subject will be neutron powder diffraction. It is intended that there be two powder
diffractometers at the Replacement Reactor, when it starts operation in 2005.
The purpose of the workshop is to
*	identify the future opportunities in this area, and
*	make a start on instrument specifications
