Neutron Scattering for Materials Engineering and Stress Measurement in
particular.

Lecturer in Materials Engineering

This is a full time academic post

Applications are invited from engineers or applied scientists who can
bring enthusiasm and commitment to bear on research and teaching. The
successful candidate will join a strong research department and will be
expected to initiate work that complements or supports current projects.
Applicants should also have a willingness to adapt to fresh challenges in
the teaching of materials engineering. It is expected that a significant
contribution will be made to the planned programme of new courses. We’ll
offer you an exciting course team environment and allow you generous
research time - plus two months study-leave per year.

Appointment will be made on the Lecturer Grade A salary scale £18,731 -
£23,256 p.a. or on the Lecturer Grade B salary scale £24,227 - £30,967
p.a. according to academic attainment and experience.
