Al-tubes for 3He prop. counters

Dear colleagues,

who has experience with 3He-filled  proportional counters from GE
Reuter-Stokes made of aluminum
tubes with Ni - coating of the inside diameter. Especially, I am
interested in data on background rates due to alpha-contamination of the
aluminium tube.
