recent developments in instrumentation at neutron and synchrotron
radiation sources and will focus on the influence of different bonding
mechanisms and of light on the atomic properties of networks at the
partial structure factor level. The work will be conducted under the
aegis of Dr Phil Salmon at the University of Bath and Dr Spencer Howells
at the ISIS pulsed neutron source and will benefit from substantial
interaction with colleagues using Car-Parrinello and other molecular
dynamics methods. Further information on the Bath group is available at and informal enquiries should be directed
