A postdoctoral research assistant position is available in
the group of Professor Meigan Aronson in the Department of
Physics at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Our
research is in the area of strongly correlated electron systems,
in particular the stability of different collective states and
their novel electronic properties found in the rare earth and actinide
based heavy fermion compounds. Current neutron scattering projects
focus on the spatial and dynamic critical phenomena associated with
different
types of magnetic phase transitions which occur at zero temperature.
Please contact Professor Aronson at 1-734-764-3272 or maronson at umich.edu
for further information. The position is available immediately.
