Looking for an exceptional postdoctoral appointee to build the scientific
case for a new type of neutron instrument [SERGIS: spin-Echo Resolved
Grazing Incidence Scattering] aimed at studying membranes and roughness in
thin layers.

The successful candidate will participate to the realization of the
spin-echo-coils, in collaboration with a team from the Max-Planck Institute
in Stuttgart, and their installation onto the EVAnescent wave spectrometer
at the Istitut Laue-Langevin in Grenoble. The candidate will be a principal
actor in forging the first suite of experiments.

Interest in soft matter is expected; some expertise in scattering and/or
magnetic resonance is advisable. The position is available now. If
interested, please contact:
