The Laboratory for Neutron Scattering (Paul Scherrer Institute Villigen and
ETH Zurich) announces an opening for a senior research scientist (physicist,
chemist, crystallographer) at the Swiss Spallation Neutron Source 'SINQ'
(http://lns.web.psi.ch/lns/jobs2002.html). The post represents an excellent
opportunity for an experienced senior scientist to bring in his expertise
and experience with instrumentation development and upgrade as well as in
managing user experiments. A strong research record is indispensable.

We are looking for a

MAIN RESPONSIBLE for the neutron reflectometer AMOR

(at your earliest convenience)

Your tasks would be:

- Responsibility for the installation/operation and further development of
the instrument, in particular co-operation with guest scientists in their
experiments at SINQ
 
- Performance of neutron scattering experiments for your own
research projects
 
- Development and implementation of analytical software for the instrument
