[Neutron] SINQ - Call For Proposals II/05

The next DEADLINE for the submission of beamtime requests for the Swiss
spallation neutron source 'SINQ' (http://sinq.web.psi.ch) will be:

PERIOD:
-------
Herewith we call for proposals for the beamtime period II/05 between
01/09/2005 and 23/12/2005 and from then onwards (long-term proposals).
 

DIGITAL USER OFFICE, DUO:
-------------------------
With this call SINQ introduces an ONLINE SUBMISSION PROCEDURE for the
proposals through the PSI Digital User Office 'DUO'. Please DO NOT MAKE USE
OF EMAIL ATTACHMENTS ANYMORE but submit your proposal through the new
system.

SINQ and SLS now use the same Digital user office database. If you did not
register for DUO so far, please first do so via the DUO login page:

PROPOSAL-SUBMISSION:

As before, you are invited to submit either long-term or short-term
proposals. 
New users are kindly asked to contact the instrument responsibles before
submitting the proposal to discuss instrumental options and reasonable
beamtime requests. Guidelines for the proposal submission and more detailed
information can be found on our webpages:

INSTRUMENTS:
------------
The list of available instruments in II/05 and detailed information on those
can be obtained here: http://sinq.web.psi.ch/sinq/instruments.html

Additionally, beamtime on the instrument MORPHEUS (optional ECHO)
can be allocated by contacting the instrument responsible directly.
For the radiography station NEUTRA a dedicated proposal form has been
set up, which can be downloaded from the SINQ webpages (no DUO yet).
 
 
SWISS NEUTRONS FOR EUROPE:
--------------------------
SINQ is part of the 'NMI3-Access Program' within 'EU Framework Program FP6'.
Users from eligible countries might be supported by reimbursement of travel
