[Neutron] postdoc position at SINQ, Switzerland, in high-pressure neutron scattering

The Laboratory for Neutron Scattering (ETH Zurich and PSI Villigen,  
Switzerland)
has an open position for a

POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW
in the field of condensed matter physics and high-pressure neutron  
scattering
Extension of our present high-pressure techniques (Paris-Edinburgh  
press and piston-cylinder cells) towards their use at low  
temperatures (< 10 K in the 6 GPa range). Powder and single-crystal  
neutron diffraction studies of advanced materials that show a strong  
coupling between magnetism and ferroelectricity.

Requirements: Recently graduated in condensed matter physics or  
material science (or graduating within next months). Experience or  
strong interest in neutron scattering. Experience or strong interest  
in high-pressure techniques. High level of enthusiasm for technical  
challenges. High scientific curiosity towards new research topics
