advisable to start the

-->> Due to extended routine maintenance at the beginning of 2009,  no
neutrons will be available
from 1 January to 15 March 2009

-->> In connection with the forthcoming merger of HMI and BESSY with
"Helmholtz Centre Berlin"
(HZB) as continuing unit, the deadlines for both, HMI and BESSY
proposals, will be harmonised as of
1 January 2009:

                                     1 March and 1 September
