[Neutron] Open Position at Swiss Muon Source, Paul Scherrer Institut, Villigen, Switzerland

The Laboratory for Muon Spin Spectroscopy at the Swiss Muon Source has  
an open position for a Postdoctoral Fellow for the new High-Magnetic  
Field muSR Instrument (10 T)  with low-temperature sample environment  
(20 mK).

The ideal candidate has a PhD in experimental physics and has  
experience in the following areas:
cryogenic sample environments and vacuum technology;
experiments in high magnetic fields;
fast-timing detector systems and related front-end electronics and  
data acquisition.

He/She will participate in the detailed design works and construction  
of the instrument, modelling of the instrument performance, testing of  
the components, commissioning and calibration of the instrument, and  
develop his/her own research projects.
