Confit 2010 is a continuation of three very successful meetings 
previously held in 2000, 2003 and 2006 and hosted by the Institut 
Laue-Langevin.

Like the preceding meetings, Confit 2010 aims at bringing together 
expert researchers working in the field of confined matter for fruitful 
discussions of the scientific progress and new developments that have 
been made during the last four years, and for an extensive exchange of 
prospective questions, new directions and future opportunities that have 
opened up in this field.
