5. Available instruments
Neutron and Muon instruments available for the 2010A user program are as follows. Please feel free to contact the persons responsible for details of the instruments.
Although the power of the pulsed proton beams available for experiments is expected to be about 100kW or more, the exact available time will depend upon the progress of the commissioning of the accelerator and instruments currently taking place.
(1) Neutron instruments
BL-01: 4D Space Access Neutron Spectrometer (4SEASONS)
BL-03: IBARAKI Biological Crystal Diffractometer (iBIX)
BL-08: Super High Resolution Powder Diffractometer (SuperHRPD)
BL-10: Neutron Beam-line for Observation and Research Use (NOBORU)
BL-14: Cold-Neutron Disk-Chopper Spectrometer (AMATERAS)
BL-16: High-Performance Neutron Reflectometer with a Horizontal Sample Geometry (ARISA-II)
BL-19: Engineering Diffractometer (TAKUMI)
BL-20: IBARAKI Materials Design Diffractometer (iMATERIA)
(2) Muon instrument
D1: D1 instrument
D2: D2 instrument
Specific program for the neutron instruments of BL-03 and BL-20 which are conducted by Ibaraki Prefecture will be called separately. Please visit the WEB site (http://www.sf21-ibaraki.jp/) (Japanese version only) for more details.
