[Neutron] Gordon Squires

The following brief announcement of some sad news has just come from 
Athene Donald at the Cavendish Laboratory, Cambridge:

Gordon Squires died yesterday, peacefully . He had been in good 
health until very recently, and was still devoting a lot of effort to 
maintaining the Cavendish Museum. He will be missed.

I can add that Gordon was very well known to many in the neutron 
community for his work in a wide range of areas and advised or taught 
many students who are still active in the field of neutron scattering.
