The Paul Scherrer Institute employs 1400 members of staff and is the largest research centre for the natural and engineering sciences in Switzerland and a worldwide leading user laboratory. Its research activities are concentrated on the main topics structure of matter, energy and environmental research as well as human health.

For the Laboratory for Developments and Methods we are looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow !

Your tasks:
Preparation and execution of neutron and X-ray scattering experiments on multifunctional and frustrated magnetic insulators
Bulk measurements using laboratory based materials characterization methods
Preparation of materials using solid state chemistry methods
Publication of papers and oral presentation at conferences
Your profile:
PhD in condensed matter physics or solid state chemistry
A minimum of 2 years experience in neutron or X-ray scattering
Ability to work independently and in a team
Good communication skills oral and written in English are required
