Physical Chemistry Lecturer for a 4 year contract position.

Salary Range:
A$80,895 to A$96,064 per annum (+ 17% superannuation).
(66500 to 78000 Euro)
(52000 to 62400 British Pounds)

The Discipline of Chemistry, located within the School of Environmental
and Life Sciences, is looking to 
appoint a 4 year fixed term Level B teaching and research academic in
Physical Chemistry. The successful 
applicant will be highly motivated and will be able to demonstrate
their capacity to generate external research 
funding, establish a research program, attract and supervise
postgraduate students and conduct and report 
on research of international significance. The successful applicant
will also teach general chemistry, physical 
chemistry and more specialised higher level undergraduate courses.

You will have a PhD in chemistry or a related area. Research experience
in the area of colloid and interface 
science or ionic liquids is desirable, as is a proven record with one
or more of the following techniques: 
radiation scattering, reflectance or diffraction, quartz crystal
microbalance or atomic force microscopy. 
This position is based at our Callaghan campus and is available on a
fixed term, full-time basis for four (4) 
years from January 2013.
