[Neutron] Open Postdoctoral Researcher Position

The Neutron Scattering for Protein Dynamics and Structure Group in Department of Physics at Wayne State University invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher. Highly motivated candidates with an earned Ph.D. in physics, biophysics, biochemistry, bioengineering and other related fields are encouraged to apply. Research experience in studies of biological systems using neutron, X-ray scattering and molecular dynamics simulation is a plus, but not required. We provide all necessary training. 

The successful candidate will carry out research investigating the structure and dynamics of various bio-molecular systems involving multi-disciplinary efforts such as quasi-elastic neutron scattering, small-angle scattering, and molecular dynamics simulation. The position provides an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to work in the national laboratories and interact closely with world leading scientists. The initial appointment will be made for two years, with the possibility for renewal. Salary will commensurate with experience.
