The SNS Linac produces 1-GeV, 1.4-MW negative hydrogen beam (1.3 GeV, 2.8 MW capable after proton power upgrade) and is now considered to be the world's leading high-power proton accelerator facility. The Linac Systems Group manages all SNS RF structures (RFQ, Rebunchers, DTL, CCL, Cryomodules and Ring RF), HPRF systems, LLRF systems, ion source RF systems, Central Helium Refrigerator (CHL) systems and related test facilities.

This position reports to the Linac Systems Group Leader and will interface with the Linac Systems Group members, SNS and ORNL staffs, and professional peers at other institutes.
