For the Solid State Spectroscopy Group within the Laboratory for Neutron Scattering and Imaging<https://www.psi.ch/en/lns> at the Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI Villigen<https://www.psi.ch/>, Switzerland) we are looking for a

Scientist (Tenure Track Position)


Your tasks:
You will be co-responsible for the thermal triple axis spectrometer EIGER<https://www.psi.ch/en/sinq/eiger> at SINQ<https://www.psi.ch/en/sinq> and use it together with the cold triple axis spectrometer TASP<https://www.psi.ch/en/sinq/tasp> and the novel multiplexing spectrometer CAMEA<https://www.psi.ch/en/sinq/camea> for your research. You support the external user program, and be actively involved in the technical development of the instrument suite at SINQ<https://www.psi.ch/en/sinq/instrumentation>, with a focus on the development of data reduction and analysis software. You will pursue an independent and ambitious research program preferably in the field of quantum materials.
