[Neutron] Instrument scientist position available on the cold three-axis spectrometer PANDA, MLZ, Germany

Dear colleagues,

The Jülich Centre for Neutron Science  is seeking an instrument 
scientist for the cold three-axis spectrometer PANDA and member of the 
related science group.

PANDA is a world-leading cold neutron spectrometer, providing an 
exciting scientific environment with excellent, inspiring working 
conditions.

The position involves the maintenance and further development of the 
instrument including commissioning of the multiplexxing secondary 
spectrometer BAMBUS, advanced management of data collected on PANDA, 
BAMBUS and in AI-assisted mode, and user support / assistence.

It gives the opportunity to persue high-quality personal research and to 
build up intra-facility, national and international cooperations. 
MLZ/JCNS  provide 1/3 of the available beamtime for inhouse research, 
and engage the scientists to attract new users not only broadly but also 
in areas related to the own research .

We are looking for a highly motivated scientist to join the PANDA team.
