*German Neutron Scattering Conference (DN2024)*

The DN2024 offers a great opportunity to discuss current research with 
neutrons and the future of neutron science (in Germany) in light of the 
upcoming ESS and the published technical design report of the high 
brilliance accelerator-based neutron source (HBS).

The program includes:

  * *Sessions*: Health and life, Soft matter, Condensed matter,
    Magnetism and superconductivity, Instrumentation and data
    management, Sources and upgrades, Neutrons in energy materials
    research, Advanced materials and processing
  * *Plenary speakers*: Serena Cussen, Stephan Förster, Johanna Jochum,
    Christian Pfleiderer, Walter Richtering, Helmut Schober
  * *Visit of the HBS test stand at the JULIC Neutron Platform*after the
    conference on 18 September - limited places, first comes, first serves
  * *Training Workshop Neutron imaging data analysis*(19-20 September 2024)
