As a valued member of our user community, we are reaching out to let you know that we are now accepting proposals for the ACNS & NDF 2025-1 round.

Applications close: 16 September 2024

In this email, you will find details and useful links on how to apply, available neutron instruments, deuteration capabilities, ACNS planned user program days and user terms and conditions.

Apply today<https://portal.ansto.gov.au/>

Australian Centre for Neutron Scattering
ACNS is accepting proposals for access from April 2025 through August 2025. The OPAL reactor long shutdown<https://www.ansto.gov.au/facilities/opal-multi-purpose-reactor/opal-2024-shutdown> to replace the cold neutron source is progressing well and we expect to return to user services in October 2024.

A range of neutron-beam instruments and capabilities are available to support your research proposal.

National Deuteration Facility
The NDF is accepting proposals for access from January 2025 through June 2025.

Deuteration by chemical and biological processes is available.
