[Neutron] NEUTRON DIFFRACTION & IMAGING - advanced summer school Training on Neutron Techniques

It is a great pleasure for us to announce the advanced summer school Training on Neutron Techniques (TNT) organized by the Italian Society of Neutron Science (SISN).

The school will focus on NEUTRON DIFFRACTION & IMAGING and will be held in San Giovanni (Valle Aurina, BZ, ITALY) from June 13th to 21st 2025.

*Registrations are open and the deadline for pre-registration is April 6th 2025.

The school is open to graduate and PhD students and post-docs working in scientific disciplines such as physics, chemistry, earth sciences, materials sciences, sciences for the conservation of cultural heritage, biology and similar.

Lectures and tutorials covering all aspects of the theory and practice of diffraction ad imaging, including also non-scattering techniques and advanced approaches for data analysis and interpretation, will be given by international experts. Additionally, the school will explore the potential role of machine learning and artificial intelligence, in particular for instrument design and data processing.
