Hello fellow neutron scatterers,
I am pleased to announce that the UK Neutron Scattering Group (UK NSG) will be hosting our biennial Early Career Meeting this summer on 21-22 August 2025 in the city of Bristol. We invite any of you with an interest in using neutron scattering (whatever the field) to join us for a two-day meeting of scientific presentations, career development activities, and networking with like-minded scientists.
Alongside contributed presentations from the attendees, we are happy to have plenary talks from Adam Clancy from University College London and Maggie Holme from Chalmers in Gothenburg, who will both be talking about their recent research and obtaining funding to support their science programme. Alongside these presentations, we will have invited talks from two recent neutron prize winners about their current research: Mohamed Aouane (ESS) and Andrew McCluskey (Bristol).
We also would like to acknowledge the kind support of our sponsors: the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source and the Institut Laue-Langevin.
To find out more information, please visit the conference website (below) which we will continue to update as the meeting approaches.

If you are interested in contributing a presentation, please submit your abstract on this website before 30 June 2025.
Registration is currently open (full details on the website), with a discount for IOP/RSC members, and will be open until August.
We look forward to welcoming you to Bristol in August!
All the best,
Greg
