Dear colleagues,

At Lund University, we have a new tenure-track assistant professorship opening, for someone working in the field of correlated electron physics (broadly defined), and with experience of neutron scattering. The field of the position is intended to be generally wide, and we are very keen to attract qualified applicants from all over the world.

The deadline for applications is 10 August 2025, and the full job description and link for applying is here - https://lu.varbi.com/en/what:job/jobID:829617/. The position comes with funding for a doctoral student directly on arrival. Applicants who are not more than seven years from their PhD defence on the 10th August 2025 will be prioritised – this period is extended for certain types of career break (e.g. parental leave, military service, illness).

Please could you circulate this information within your networks to possible interested candidates? Any questions should be directed to me at elizabeth.blackburn at fysik.lu.se<mailto:elizabeth.blackburn at fysik.lu.se>, or to Head of Division Prof. Rainer Timm (rainer.timm at fysik.lu.se<mailto:rainer.timm at fysik.lu.se>). I would encourage any interested applicants to contact me if they have any questions or want more information. I will also be attending ICNS from Sunday onwards.

Best regards,

Elizabeth Blackburn
