Several internationally renowned experts have already confirmed their participation as keynote speakers<https://indico.frm2.tum.de/event/570/page/502-keynote-speakers> and we are looking forward to welcoming you in Munich as well!

From 19 to 22 May 2026, the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Zentrum (MLZ)<https://mlz-garching.de/englisch.html> in cooperation with the Bavarian State Archaeological Collection<https://www.archaeologie.bayern/en/> will host the 2026 edition of the conference, taking place in the state collection itself, located in the heart of Munich. The conference will highlight the use of neutrons in heritage science, but contributions using other advanced and complementary analysis techniques are also welcome. It follows an initial conference in Dongguan, China<http://nhs.ihep.ac.cn/>, which took place from 26 to 29 November 2024.

The conference program will offer four intense days packed with keynote speeches, contributed talks, a poster session, as well as optional tours through the state collection, an excursion to the Munich Residence<https://indico.frm2.tum.de/event/570/page/509-excursion-and-conference-dinner> and a conference dinner in the historic city center.
