Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 5-day advanced school FASEM <https://www.linxs.se/projects-fasem> (French-Swedish Academy for Scattering Experiments and Modeling) on the theme “Energy Applications: from Experiments to Data Analysis”, to be held in Grenoble, France, March 16–20, 2026.

This school offers PhD students training in advanced neutron and X-Ray scattering techniques and their applications in the energy sector, covering both experimental methods and data modeling/analysis. Participants will have the unique opportunity to learn from and exchange ideas with an exciting panel of expert lecturers.
The school builds on the success of FASEM 2019 (functional materials for energy) and FASEM 2024 (life sciences).
We invite you to register for the school via the following link in the Indico page. <https://workshops.ill.fr/event/532/>

We would also greatly appreciate it if you could share this announcement with your network, particularly with colleagues or industries who may be interested in the topics covered or in sponsoring FASEM.
We look forward to welcoming participants for an exciting week of learning, discussion, and collaboration.

Best regards,

Peter Fouquet and Christine Darve for the Organising Team
