[Neutron] Magnetic Structure Determination Workshop - Registration Open

Dear Colleagues,

Registration is now open for the Magnetic Structure Determination from Neutron Diffraction Data (MagStr 2026) workshop, to be held July 20-24, 2026: https://conference.sns.gov/event/552/. This is the 8th edition of the workshop and will be held on campus at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.

The MagStr workshop provides hands-on training and lectures on determining magnetic structures from powder and single-crystal neutron diffraction data. The underlying theory and techniques, including representational analysis and magnetic space groups, will be introduced. These concepts will be explored and applied to neutron data using software tools including FullProf, GSAS-II, Mag2Pol, SARAh, ISODISTORT, and the Bilbao Crystallographic Server through practical tutorial examples.
