Dear Neutron Scattering Community:
This note is a reminder to please send your abstracts for the satellite workshop on University-Based Neutron Sources to be held on July 17th, 2026, in conjunction with the American Conference on Neutron Scattering in Detroit, Michigan. The deadline for abstract submission is this Friday, May 22nd.
The workshop aims to foster collaboration among university-based neutron scientists by emphasizing the essential role that university neutron sources play in expanding the user community. It seeks to enhance access to neutron instruments, boost capabilities, and nurture the next generation of neutron scatterers and instrument scientists. As a dynamic platform, the workshop will allow university neutron sources to showcase their current achievements and visionary developments in facilities and instrumentation. It will also create opportunities for strategic partnerships in collaborative research, support, and facility development in areas of shared interest.
