[Neutron] Save the Date: International Small-Angle Scattering Conference (SAS2027), Lund, Sweden, 12–17 September 2027

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 20th International Small-Angle Scattering Conference (SAS2027), which will take place from 12–17 September 2027 in Lund, Sweden.

SAS2027 will bring together the global small-angle scattering community to explore the latest advances in small-angle scattering and its impact across established and emerging scientific fields.

The scientific programme will include sessions on the following themes:


  *
Materials for a Sustainable World: Cellulose, bio-derived and bio-based materials, magnetic materials, energy materials, quantum materials, catalysts and porous materials.
  *
Hard Matter: Magnetic materials, material microstructures, metal and oxide nanomaterials.
  *
Soft Matter: Gels and complex fluids, self-assembled systems, liquid crystals, and polymers.
  *
Biology: Membrane proteins, protein and nucleic acid complexes, membrane mimics, delivery vehicles, solution protein structures, biocoacervates, and antibodies.

Hosted at The Loop in Science Village, between European Spallation Source and MAX IV Laboratory, SAS2027 will combine cutting-edge science with opportunities for networking, collaboration, and visits to both facilities.

We warmly invite the small-angle scattering community to join us in Lund, and we look forward to welcoming you in 2027.
