 the NIST Center for Neutron Research (NCNR).  These powerful experimental techniques are used by researchers in a variety of scientific disciplines to probe the microstructure of materials at length scales ranging from 1nm to 20 microns.

 biology/biophysics, microporous media, and more.  The course will enable attendees to assess the applicability of the techniques to their own research and will provide the technical information needed to prepare effective beam time proposals.  The school is
