The mission is to design, construct and bring into operation the neutron instrument BEER at ESS. The Instrument Lead Engineer will be co-leader of the instrument project and will work in close collaboration with the Instrument Lead Scientist. The two will form
the core instrument team, and will coordinate work in a multinational collaboration involving partners from the Czech Republic and Germany, and in close communication with ESS-Lund. Some travelling and occasional working abroad is to be expected.<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
The Instrument Lead Engineer takes an instrument concept and turns it into an actual instrument, performing planning, detailed design, procurement, assembly and installation in a project environment. The Instrument Lead Engineer provides technical project leadership,
