<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Professor Rachel Evans and I are advertising a PhD studentship on the design and characterisation of light-responsive Pickering emulsions using neutron techniques (spin-echo/small-angle
neutron scattering). In the initial stages, the project will involve particle and emulsion preparation and characterisation using standard lab methods (contact angle, DLS, microscopy) in Cambridge. After that, the student will spend at least 1 year at ISIS
helping to design a new sample environment that combines ultrasound and, eventually, irradiation and then will use this for the remainder of the project to characterise the emulsions.
