<div><span></span>Job title: Neutron beam test technology postdoctoral researcher<br><br>Employer: China Spallation Neutron Source, the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences<br>Location: Dongguan, Guangdong province, China<br>Introduction: China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) is a newly operational user facility that is open to the world, it includs twenty neutron instruments, three of them are on operation since 2018, eight of them are under construction and the rest will start the construction in this year, which includes a neutron technology development beam line station (NTDS). NTDS is the only test beamline of CSNS, it aims to test various neutron devices, such as neutron detectors, guides, choppers, polarized devices, and to orient single crystals, etc., which is neccessary and important for the support of neutron device's development and mass production performance test.<br><br>Job description for the responsibilities for this position:<br>The design and construction of the beam line.<br>Neutron device's beam test technology research.<br>User's experiment support and data analysis.<br><br>We provide:<br>1.Competitive salary, health insurance, pension plan and inexpensive<br>company accommodation. the yearly gross salary for a postdoc is<br>about 450k RMB (approximately 64k U.S dollars).<br>2.Clear career path.<br> <br>Requested Profile:<br>1.The applicant must have obtained a PhD in physics or related<br>field prior the time of this employment<br>2.Basic understanding of neutron or x-ray scattering theory<br>3.Experienced in scientific computation and Monte Carlo particle transport simulation.<br> <br>How to Apply This position will be filled on a continuous basis and<br>will remain open until filled.
