<div class="">The Neutron and X-ray Scattering Group of the Materials Science Division at Argonne National Laboratory is seeking applicants for an Assistant Physicist in the area of experimental condensed matter research using advanced neutron scattering techniques. </div>

<div class="">The successful candidate will be expected to develop and utilize novel neutron scattering approaches to investigate the emergent properties of energy and quantum materials. The group’s current focus is on developing scattering methods to study
the impact of local defects and short-range correlations on materials properties in single crystals of ionic conductors, quantum materials, and frustrated spin glasses. </div>
