discuss future opportunities in neutron scattering science.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black;mso-ligatures:none;mso-fareast-language:EN-GB">The European neutron scattering landscape is changing, with recent major investment in state-of-the-art instrumentation creating new opportunities to expand
our user community and address new scientific challenges. At the same time, the planned closure of the ILL reactor will have a significant impact on neutron beamtime access for UK-based users. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
