<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#212121">We are currently advertising for a 4-year PhD studentship, co-funded by the University of Birmingham and the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source through the ISIS Facility Development scheme. The project is suited to
candidates with a background in physical sciences and an interest in pursuing research in experimental materials chemistry and physics. The aims of the project are the development of microwave-assisted materials synthesis as a route to high-quality high-volume
samples required for magnetic neutron scattering studies, and the development of neutron polarisation analysis for magnetic materials on the LET spectrometer at ISIS.
