<p><font color="#000000"><font face="Calibri, sans-serif"><font size="2">The "Neutrons and Food 8" 2026 will be held in Garching, Germany on June 15th to 19th, 2026 and it will bring together experts in food science and technology and neutron scattering to
discuss present status, ongoing developments as well as future perspectives in the field. </font></font></font></p>
<p><font color="#000000"><font face="Calibri, sans-serif"><font size="2">The world-wide interest to tackle vibrant research questions about food materials and processing with the help of scattering methods is growing. Sustainability in food technology requires
knowledge based research and development, and the scattering community is a vibrating and active part, showing with its techniques that gaining molecular insight into complex structures is exciting and important for further developments. In this conference
the colorful diversity of research with neutrons and food will be highlighted. </font></font></font></p>
<p><font color="#000000"><font face="Calibri, sans-serif"><font size="2">The conference consists of two parts: a training school and the exchange of the most recent research results presented from contributed and invited talks as well as posters. The first
day is devoted to the training school with introductory lectures on scattering techniques as well as food systems. The other days cover talks and posters on current research related to neutron and X-ray techniques and food. Furthermore,visits of state-of-the-art
reseach facilities specialized in food science and technology and scattering are organized.</font></font></font></p>
