"Probing Frontiers in Matter with Neutrons" Workshop at LANL

The Center for Materials Science (CMS) and the Los Alamos Neutron Science
Center (LANSCE) of Los Alamos National Laboratory are organizing a common
workshop to be held in Los Alamos, December 12-14, 1997, on "Probing
Frontiers in Matter with Neutrons."  A number of highlights in recent
neutron scattering research will be reviewed and related perspectives
discussed, including the study of high Tc superconductors, heavy electron
systems, metal-insulator transitions, polymers, glasses, fractal and
biological matter.  An announcement with program details will be published
in the near future.
