POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWS (LEVEL A) FIXED-TERM
and/or
RESEARCH FELLOWS (LEVEL B) FIXED-TERM
in
EMULSION SCIENCE AND STRUCTURE
Applications are sought for an experimental position in the Solid State
Molecular Science group led by Professor John White to research the
structure and rheology of concentrated emulsions. Previous experience in
surface and colloid science and using neutron and x-ray small angle
scattering would be highly desirable.
The successful applicant would be expected to carry out fundamental research
on the connection between microstructure and mechanical properties in
emulsions. This group, in association with ORICA Pty Ltd and the
Universities of Melbourne and Newcastle, is engaged in a wide ranging study
of emulsions and microemulsions, so the appointee must be comfortable with
collaborative research and capable of communicating basic findings to those
engaged in industrially focussed effort.
