Dear Colleague:
The Intense Pulsed Neutron Source (IPNS) is participating in a
combined users meeting May 1-5 at Argonne National Laboratory.
One registration fee of $225 provides access to sessions representing
all four DOE Basic Energy Sciences user facilities at Argonne,
including your choice of 12 workshops.
In addition to other users of the IPNS, you can meet users and staff
of the Advanced Photon Source (APS), Center for Nanoscale Materials
(CNM), and Electron Microscopy Center (EMC).
Each facility is hosting a poster session; you can opt to present
your poster in more than one session (space permitting). Students,
please note there are prizes for the best student posters!
Of particular interest to IPNS users:
* Joint Workshop with APS and EMC: Texture and Strain Mapping
with X-rays, Neutrons, and Electrons (Thursday, May 4)
* Poster session (Tuesday, May 2)
* Other workshops listed below
Deadlines
* March 15: Poster abstracts
* March 31: Registration for non-U.S. citizens without current
APS badge
* April 14: Registration without late fee
* April 14: Guest House reservations
The meeting web site is http://www.aps.anl.gov/Users/Meeting/.
Please watch the site for workshop details and additional speakers. A
poster is available on the web site.
(Apologies if you receive this twice: It is going both to the
neutron at anl.gov mailing list and to all registered users of IPNS.)
