FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINS2006

The 3rd Workshop on Inelastic Neutron Spectrometers 2006 will be held on
September 29-30, 2006, in Berlin as a satellite meeting of PNCMI.
Workshop series has been launched in 2004 by J-PARC to further
innovations in neutron spectrometer design. 

WINS 2006 will be hosted by Hahn-Meitner Institute Berlin in
collaboration with Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA), and High Energy
Accelerator Research Organization (KEK). 

The workshop will cover innovative aspects of the instrument design,
sample environment, data processing, virtual instrument tools as well as
reports on progress of spectrometer projects, with some preference for
TOF techniques in view of the growing importance of pulsed spallation
sources.
