The next DEADLINE for the submission of beam time requests for the Swiss
spallation neutron source 'SINQ' (http://sinq.web.psi.ch) will be:

PERIOD:

Herewith we call for proposals for the beam time period II/08 between
01/09/2008 and 23/12/2008 and from then onwards (long-term proposals).
PROPOSAL-SUBMISSION:
--------------------
You are invited to submit either long-term or short-term proposals.
New users are kindly asked to contact the instrument responsibles before
submitting a proposal to discuss instrumental options and reasonable
beam time requests. Guidelines for the proposal submission and
further useful
information can be found on the SINQ webpages:

INSTRUMENTS:

Please note, the feasibility of complex experiments should be discussed
in advance with the instrument and sample environment responsibles.
The SANS-II beamline will not accept further proposals in cycle II/08
and the imaging beamlines NEUTRA and ICON will accept only a limited
number of additional proposals in 2008 since they are already heavily
occupied.
Beam time on the instrument MORPHEUS can be allocated by contacting the
instrument responsible directly.
