Provides technical and administrative support during system commissioning and participates in future R&D activities.
Major duties and responsibilities:
Analyzes a variety of engineering problems using traditional analytical methods and other simulation techniques, including tools such as PSpice, Simplorer, MathCAD, and finite element analysis programs. Develops and/or specifies deployable designs based on engineering analysis.
Working with members of the Electrical Systems Group, performs failure analysis and studies mean time to repair data on electrical systems to propose reliability upgrades.
Develops, reviews, and validates project design concepts.
Produces accurate and concise technical reports, design documentation, and interface documentation.
Prepares presentations for and responses to recommendations from technical design reviews and advisory committees.
Participates in R&D and prototyping of technical equipment.
