[Neutron] 2009 International Conference on Neutron Scattering Announced for May 2009

Please mark your calendar for the 2009 International Conference on Neutron Scattering (ICNS2009) to be held May 3-7, 2009, in the Knoxville Convention Center, Knoxville, Tennessee. This is the 9th ICNS in the series since the conferences began with ICNS '82 in Hakone, Japan, and follows ICNS 2005 in Sydney, Australia. 

Sponsored by the Neutron Scattering Society of America (NSSA) and hosted by Oak Ridge National Laboratory, this meeting will provide an international forum for scientists interested in:
• sharing new results enabled by neutron scattering experiments in scientific and engineering fields including condensed matter physics, engineered and applied materials, soft condensed matter and biological science, minerology and earth science, neutron physics, and instrument concepts and devices and energy science 
•presenting ideas on new and novel techniques in the field of neutron scattering 
•promoting collaborations and interdisciplinary partnerships 
•featuring updates on facility development and expanding capabilities for advanced neutron sources 
•discussing how neutron scattering might expand its role in the study of new and emerging scientific topics 

We also invite you help us to create an exciting program by
suggesting invited speakers for the technical sessions. Please provide your suggestions here.
