ANSTO is the national organisation for nuclear science and technology.

Bragg Institute is an international leader in Neutron Beam and X-ray
Science, recognised for the excellence of its scientific endeavours, its
facilities, its techniques and its people. The Bragg Institute was set
up in 2002, with the explicit intent of fostering strong interactions
with academic and commercial research organizations both within
Australia and overseas.
We are currently looking for a Detector Specialist to join our team.
Reporting to the Group Leader, Computing & Electronics you will provide
team leadership to the Data Acquisition Team, including objective
setting, tasking, motivating, and project management.
You will be responsible for maintaining the Bragg Institute neutron
detectors and beam monitors, and the ancillary equipment required to
test and maintain these systems.
As the successful applicant you will be Degree qualified in Bachelor of
Science in computing and/or physics and/or mathematics or Bachelor of
Engineering in electronics.
You will have experience in electronic engineering of data acquisition
systems using FPGA based hardware and experience in developing
applications using software development methodologies e.g. agile.
Your strong leadership skills and experience managing and coaching
people will complement your excellent written and oral communication
skills
To be eligible for appointment, applicants will require a security and
