[Neutron] Research Scientist position at the University of Virginia

The Department of Physics at the University of Virginia is seeking a 
postdoctoral research associate to utilize neutron and X-ray scattering 
techniques to explore structures and dynamics of strongly correlated 
electron systems.

Highly motivated candidates with strong interest in materials physics 
and experience with diffraction and/or elastic and inelastic scattering 
techniques along with sample growth, are especially encouraged to apply. 
The successful candidate's research will be conducted at the University 
of Virginia, Department of Physics, with the scattering work carried out 
at national and international facilities. This is a one-year appointment 
with the possibility of renewal for one or two additional years if 
mutually agreeable, contingent upon available funding. The successful 
candidate must have completed the requirements for a PhD in experimental 
condensed matter prior to the appointment start date of March 2015. 
Priority will be given to candidates with experimental expertise in 
scattering, data analysis and sample growth.
