1st Argentinean Meeting on Neutron Scattering – Registration and call for
abstracts

Buenos Aires, 15-16 March 2017


We are glad to welcome you to the 1st Argentinean Meeting on Neutron
Scattering <http://fisica.cab.cnea.gov.ar/tn2017/index.php/en/>, to be held
from March 15th to 16th in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, hosted by
the "National Atomic Energy Commission of Argentina" (CNEA). The TN2017
Conference and Workshop CNEA-MinCyT will be held at the Palacio San Martín;
Auditorio de Cancillería, Esmeralda 1212, CABA. This is an historial

The TN2017 <http://fisica.cab.cnea.gov.ar/tn2017/index.php/en/> is meant to
bring together experts on neutron scattering techniques with the
Argentinian scientific community, as well as with the leaders of the LAHN
project <http://www.lahn.cnea.gov.ar/> for the development and construction
of the Neutron Scattering Laboratory in the RA-10 reactor. Researchers and
students from a broad range of institutions in Argentina, interested in the
creation of such Laboratory, are invited to participate in this Meeting.

In addition, on March 17th a Workshop is being jointly organised with the
Ministry of Science and Technology for the discussion of the Science Cases
for the next phase of the instrumentation program at the LAHN
<http://www.lahn.cnea.gov.ar/>. Presentations and discussion panels will be
organised with the technical team, the leaders of the Project and
representatives of the Ministry of Science and Technology and other
institutions.

Call for abstracts

Abstract submission will only be managed on-line. To sumbit an abstract at
least one author should be registered.

Abstracts should be written in English. Maximum characters: 2500. *ABSTRACT
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 10**th* *2017*

Please follow these guidelines when formatting your abstract:

   -

   Use a short, specific title.
   -

   The title should be entered in sentence-like capitalization (i.e.
   Neutron diffraction of LaNiO3 crystals). Please do not use a period, or
   place your title in quotes, use bold, or use ALL CAPS.
   -

   Please do not write given or family names, titles, or abstracts in ALL
   CAPS.
   -

   Please do not include tables, charts, or other figures.
   -

   Be sure to proofread your work carefully before submission.
   -

   Special Characters and Formatting: Please use LaTex notation
