Announcement of “The 9th AONSA/The 2nd Neutron and Muon School”

We are pleased to announce the 9th AONSA (Asia-Oceania Neutron Scattering Association) /the 2nd Neutron and Muon School to be held on November 16-20, 2017 at J-PARC, Tokai, Japan,

The School provides neutron and muon beam research training for newcomers through overall perspective of physics, chemistry, biology, materials science and more. In addition to lectures, the course provides practical sessions of hands-on experiments and data analysis. All neutron and muon techniques are generally covered.

- Date: November 16-20, 2017

- Venue: J-PARC, Tokai, Japan

- Eligibility: Graduate students,neutron and muon beam based techniques.
  (Prospective participants must be certified as radiation workers)

- Application deadline is on 30 July 2017.

- Registration fee: JPY 30,000
 (This fee includes room charge and full board throughout the School)

- Financial support: The school organizers may provide limited financial support to the participants traveling from developing countries of ANOSA member. For more details, kindly contact school office.
